Lumishore invests in SMT Production Facility to improve customer focus

Lumishore, the leading designer & manufacturer of high-performance marine LED lighting systems, has invested in a bespoke Surface Mount Technology (SMT) facility to produce printed circuit boards (PCBs and Arrays) for its entire product range.

The facility, which will generate additional jobs locally, can produce upwards of 150,000 circuit boards annually. With the ability to produce circuit boards in-house, Lumishore is investing in strategically important production capability to ensure improved service and quality to its customers. Lumishore will benefit from improved product delivery times of its lighting products, faster product development cycles and a continued focus on quality and sustainability.

The development of a SMT facility is the latest building block in Lumishore’s expansion over recent years. In 2022, it expanded into new premises in Swansea, UK and moved into a larger distribution and technical support center in Sarasota, USA to facilitate continued expansion over the upcoming years.
