Lumishore expands premises in both UK and USA to meet business growth

Lumishore, leading manufacturer of high-performance marine LED lighting systems, has moved both its main UK and USA premises this week into bigger facilities.

This follows an exceptional 2021 for sales of Lumishore’s above and below water LED lighting products, in which they also employed additional skills, increasing staff levels by nearly a third.

Lumishore’s UK headquarters in Swansea, UK, have moved within the city. The business had been in their original premises since 2010, with a smaller factory unit being added later. This move will consolidate its production facilities into one.

Lumishore’s new USA HQ, distribution center and offices will remain in Sarasota, Florida but in significantly larger premises; the larger footprint of the new unit will enable further expansion over the upcoming years, as more product lines are released.

The news comes after the successful launch of Lumishore’s brand new line of Flood Lights and Spotlights, which includes the world’s first CRGBW Flood Lights. They will be on display at the upcoming Miami International Boat Show.

Lumishore CEO, Eifrion Evans said: “The team are looking forward to working in much more efficient and effective working environments, where we can continue to expand and develop high quality lighting for the marine market . The new offices are a great reflection of the success of the past year despite global supply chain challenges and COVID-related delays”.
